UWC Holdings recently steal the limelight again when the Prime Minister from Uganda paid an honourable visit to launch an official opening of a UWC's latest offering. The visit was officiated and welcomed by the Management of UWC as well as from Penang's Chief Minister, Sri Dr Koh Tsu-Khoon.

A number of prominent respected figures in the society made their special appearance at the launching. The new electromagnetic lock, which isimported and sold internationally such as Australia and in the US, concentrated on electricity to generate power on its locks.

This official launching also sees UWC's commitment to supply to Uganda's hospital equipment, simultaneously, the government of Uganda has shown keen interest to invest in Malaysia. As such, this is able to foster a closer relationship between the two countries.
